Merrick Gives Back

We partner with and support wonderful local and national organizations
that share our commitment to helping pets change lives.

KS9 For Warriors

K9S FOR WARRIORS

Of all the powers dogs possess, the greatest might be to understand the human spirit and help us find strength. That’s why, since 2015, we’ve been the exclusive dog food partner for K9s For Warriors, an organization that trains rescue dogs to aid and empower veterans to adjust to civilian life with dignity and independence. Merrick donates all the food and treats needed to feed all the dogs across their facilities. Merrick has also partnered with Purdue University and K9s by contributing over $500,000 to research designed to prove the healing power of service dogs.

LOCAL ANIMAL SHELTERS

Nothing makes us happier than when a pet finds a new family and a forever home. We believe every pet should have the best nutrition, which is why we serve as the exclusive feeding partner to several shelters across the US, providing all of the meals and treats to each resident cat and dog. From their first meal, until adoption day, they’ll enjoy healthy recipes made in Merrick’s kitchens with locally sourced USDA-inspected deboned meat, fresh produce and high-quality proteins.
